what im saying is that ive seen these stories of police officers seeing ufos and then radioing others to validate the sighting so why dont they use thier dash cam to catch it

Okay, so last night (May 30, 2010) I saw this object in the sky. It looked just like a star, then it started moving. So i figured im seeing things. When my buddy said he saw it too, I knew there was really a moving object up there. But like I saw, it was just a dot. An average star. Looked Medium sized compared to other stars but it was moving.

To give some what an exact location, ill do my best to explain it.
My location: North western New Jersey
Time: Between 10:48-10:50 P.M.
UFO: Heading south (Towards Florida maybe Mexico)
To give you an idea, The Big Dipper was in the North Western part of the sky.

The UFO did NOT light up then die nor was it going super fast. It slowly moved across the sky, then got a little faster, and then was gone. Just like that. It did not fade it just disappeared.

Did anyone else see that? Or have any idea what it could possibly have been?

I found this amazing because I LOVE astronomy, and I feel this could be a start!

BY THE WAY: I dont know much about meteors and stuff like that, so please, bare with me.

I have. It was about 2 or 3 years ago when I saw it, I was leaving my friend’s house, and was walking in the neighborhood back to my house and I saw a moving object that was flying really fast in the corner of my eye, and I looked up and saw it for a few seconds and then it disappeared. It was pretty weird, it wasn’t an airplane, because it wasn’t in an area where airplanes fly, and plus, airplanes don’t just disappear like this thing did and it wasn’t a meteor because it didn’t have the flame behind it.

I was looking up and saw a patch of light that looked like spilled milk. to the bottom of it was a triangle of lights. The triangle moved over the patch of light, and as it touched the light, the light disappeared as if it was being “wiped up”. As soon as the triangle had passed over the light, it disappeared. My friends saw this too and couldn’t explain it, they said it was probably a plane but what about the weird light? What could this have been? Was it a UFO?

Yes it was a UFO because UFO stands for Unidentified Flying Object. You saw an object you were unable to identify, therefore it is by definition a UFO.

Do I think it was an alien spaceship with a cloaking device? No.
