The interior of the pipe is coated in magnets which go all the way around except for a small sector. Once the motor is spinning, the operator needs to move the pipe to keep up with it and keep it in equilibrium. Otherwise the rotor would lose speed and also career off the surface.

Of course, Green’s motor was not designed to generate electricity for the home – it was intended as a simple, basic and yet clear example of zero point magnetic motor technology. It was designed to show the world that there is another energy source out there, right under the tips of their noses. The only reason that few people, even today, know about it is because magnetic motors were suppressed in traditional media by commercial and governmental interests who see this technology as a major threat to their existing activities.

Green’s motor looks cool but it is not practical for home use. Probably it generates barely a few milliwatts. The average home needs a few kilowatts.

These motors are still not commercially available but are anticipated to be in around 5 years or so. Until then, your best bet is to do what Green did and build one yourself. Even a larger scale device suitable for domestic use is still very simple and easy to make because it consists only of a rotor, the magnets and some electrical wiring – not much more advanced that Green’s tiny version.

If you are serious about building your own motor within a couple of days then I strongly advise investing in a good set of reliable and working plans. This will save you a lot of time and a lot of headaches. You will be generating electricity within days rather than months or longer.

We have all found ourselves looking up into the night sky, watching the countless stars and wondering if we are alone in this ever expanding universe. We see the lights that look strange in the skies and watch diligently until we realize that it’s only an airplane. Well maybe that’s just me, but the unanswered questions about our existence in the universe have been around since the beginning of recorded history.
