UFO Alarm – Product Review For the Most Versatile Personal Alarm

Every once in a while, a unique product comes along that captures my attention. Right now it’s the UFO Purse Alarm. It looks like an innocent toy or gadget, but it is a serious personal safety device.  

The UFO Alarm is a fully functioning personal alarm / purse alarm / burglar alarm! Many uses are combined into one fantastic product. It’s the most versatile alarm I’ve found.   It is different than the usual alarms that are small, nondescript, and come in mainly black.

This alarm comes in six colors: lime green, silver, white, black, sky blue and pink. It measures 62mm (2.44″) across and 30mm (1.18″) deep. And, you can choose to activate flashing strobe lights, an alarm siren, or a bright light beam.  

When a thief grabs your bag, the strobe lights and alarm instantly activate! If in a dangerous situation, you can activate one of the attention getting functions. This will give you a sense of security knowing that you can have 120 decibels of attention or strobe lights or a bright light beam OR a combination of the above.  

It is simple to install and simple to use. Due to its size, it’s easy to pack for a trip OR just use it on luggage or a purse and you won’t need to pack it away. I’m even tempted to take it along as a toy to interrupt those periods of commuting boredom, but I don’t think the other passengers would appreciate that.  

I like being able to attach it to my luggage and then going into my hotel room and setting it up on the door. This way my “home away from home” has one more layer of protection applied to it. Then I can either go out with it attached to my purse OR leave my purse in the room safe and set up the alarm on the hotel room door.  

It’s so simple to use it on doors, drawers and windows. You can set it up on the inside when you’re in the room OR you can leave and set it up from the outside to turn the alarm on when you’re away. All other portable door alarms can only be activated from the inside.  

This alarm comes with a 12 volt battery and a screwdriver. You now have no excuse not to use it! It won’t end up as one of those gadgets that sits on the shelf collecting dust. The $ 35.00 price is affordable considering the versatility of the item. The UFO Alarm would make a great gift for any fun-loving traveler, city dweller, and for those wishing to add another level of security to their belongings!
