Take Us To Your Browser: Roswell Sightings Makes First Contact
New York, N.Y. (PRWEB) July 17, 2013
Sixty-six years after Roswell’s famed alien controversy, scientists and science fiction fans alike are still captivated by the possibility of life on other planets. The launch of the Roswell Sightings website marks a new chapter in humanity’s fascination with all things extraterrestrial, offering visitors a place to report their own alien encounters, comment on the latest in sci-fi entertainment, and learn about breakthroughs in space-age exploration. The site features an ever-growing interactive map that charts extraterrestrial sightings from ancient times to the present. Visitors of the site can use the map’s filter tool to discover UFO sightings of particular times, locations, shapes, etc. They also may contribute to the map by reporting their own personal sightings.
Earlier this month, the creators of Roswell Sightings met with Dr. Jesse Marcel Jr. to relive his memories of the 1947 Roswell crash. The documentary, “Revisiting Roswell – Jesse Marcel Jr. Returns To UFO Crash Site,” follows Dr. Marcel back to his childhood house where his father first brought home remnants of the crash site debris. Reflecting on the documentary, Roswell Sightings founder Michael Donovan exclaimed, “Visiting the actual crash site on the anniversary of the event with Dr. Marcel was a singular honor.” Donovan and the Roswell Sightings team are excited to debut “Revisiting Roswell” in conjunction with the launch of their website, http://roswellsightings.com.
