what im saying is that ive seen these stories of police officers seeing ufos and then radioing others to validate the sighting so why dont they use thier dash cam to catch it

“UFO Sightings” idea/enlightenment?

I was thinking about UFO’s, their sightings, their location, and the time of appearances because I can’t sleep, and all of a sudden this came to my mind:Note: these are all the ideas from recent UFO sightings, not from 40 years ago.
- Why are UFOs always spotted in small places/desert-like places, or near military bases?
- Why are UFOs only spotted when it’s dark?
- Why do UFOs “change” in appearance, like Earth’s fashion? It tends to change every decade..
- How come the Air Force haven’t attempted to capture or shoot down these UFOs?
- Is it very likely that the US military has developed a flying object like the UFOs over the years, after WW2? Why? Because there has been multiple evidences that Nazi Germany has developed some sort of flying object in the latter part of the war.
- Isn’t it very fishy that all these “top-secret” bases are in the middle of nowhere, yet there are always these small villages nearby with people spotting UFOs?What do you think?

The First Green Fireball Reported in 1954 Sparks Off UFO Sightings

Posted in UFOs on June 16th, 2011 by ufosThe headline read “Thousands of people saw a huge fireball light up the dark New Mexico skies tonight”, it was hot off the wires and my friend Jim, from the Long Beach Press Telegram, was reading it to me. It was exactly midnight, September 18 1954 and Jim had woken me to tell me the exciting news.
The story went on to tell about how a “blinding green” fireball the size of a full moon had silently streaked southeast across Colorado and northern New Mexico at eight-forty that night. Thousands of people had seen the fireball. It had passed right over a crowded football stadium at Santa Fe, New Mexico, and people in Denver said it “turned night into day.” The crew of a TWA airliner flying into Albuquerque from Amarillo, Texas, saw it. Every police and newspaper switchboard in the two-state area was jammed with calls.
One of the calls was from a man inquiring if anything unusual had happened recently. When he was informed about the mysterious fireball he heaved an audible sigh of relief, “Thanks,” he said, “I was afraid I’d gotten some bad bourbon.” And he hung up.
Dr. Lincoln La Paz, world-famous authority on meteorites and head of the University of New Mexico’s Institute of Meteoritics, apparently took the occurrence calmly. The wire story said he had told a reporter that he would plot its course, try to determine where it landed, and go out and try to find it. “But,” he said, “I don’t expect to find anything.”
When Jim Phalen had read the rest of the report he asked,
“What was it?”
“It sounds to me like the green fireballs are back,” I answered.
“What the devil are green fireballs?”
What the devil are green fireballs? I’d like to know. So would a lot of other people.
It was November 1948 when the green fireballs came into UFO history. Mysteriour ‘green flares’ were being reported by people in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The first reports mentioned only a “green streak in the sky,” low on the horizon. From the description the Air Force Intelligence people at Kirtland AFB in Albuquerque and the Project Sign people at ATIC wrote the objects off as flares. After all, thousands of GI’s had probably been discharged with a duffel bag full of “liberated” Very pistols and flares.
But as days passed the reports got better. More people were reporting seeing the ‘flares’ and as the reports came in, they indicated they were increasing in size. It was doubtful if this “growth” was psychological because there had been no publicity—the ‘flare’ answer was reconsidered by the Air Force. They were in the process of doing this on the night of December 5, 1948, a memorable night in the green fireball chapter of UFO history.
At 9:27 P.M. 10 miles east of Albuquerque, an Air Force C-47 transport was flyinf at 18,000 feet on December 5. The pilot was a Captain Goede. Suddenly the crew, Captain Goede, his co-pilot, and his engineer were startled by a green ball of fire flashing across the sky ahead of them. It looked something like a huge meteor except that it was a bright green color and it didn’t arch downward, as meteors usually do. The green-colored ball of fire had started low, from near the eastern slopes of the Sandia Mountains, arched upward a little, then seemed to level out. And it was too big for a meteor, at least it was larger than any meteor that anyone in the C-47 had ever seen before. After a hasty discussion the crew decided that they’d better tell somebody about it, especially since they had seen an identical object twenty-two minutes before near Las Vegas, New Mexico.
Captain Goede picked up his microphone and called the control tower at Kirtland AFB and reported what he and his crew had seen. The tower relayed the message to the local intelligence people.
A few minutes later the captain of Pioneer Airlines Flight 63 called Kirtland Tower. At 9:35 P.M. he had also seen a green ball of fire just east of Las Vegas, New Mexico. He was on his way to Albuquerque and would make a full report when he landed.
When he taxied his DC-3 up to the passenger ramp at Kirtland a few minutes later, several intelligence officers were waiting for him. He reported that at 9:35 P.M. he was on a westerly heading, approaching Las Vegas from the east, when he and his co-pilot saw what they first thought was a “shooting star.” It was ahead and a little above them. The captain soon realised that whatever it was they saw had too flat a trajectory and was positioned far too low in the sky to be a meteor. As they watched, the object seemed to approach their airplane head on, changing color from orange red to green. The Captain tracked the DC-3 up in a tight turn as he was sure he was going to collide with the object as it became bigger and bigger,. As the green ball of fire got abreast of them it began to fall toward the ground, getting dimmer and dimmer until it disappeared. Just before he swerved the DC-3, the fireball was as big, or bigger, than a full moon.
After asking a few more questions the intelligent officers went back to their office. More reports, which had been phoned in from all over northern New Mexico, were waiting for them. By morning a full-fledged investigation was under way.

Views: 265Being an ufologist for over 3 years I am strongly awaiting this 4th July to see if we will get a repeat performance of last year. Last year in 2009 there was a record number of UFO sighting not only in the US but worldwide, with many sighting being reported to local police and military officials with nothing coming of it.
The question “Are we alone” has been asked many times since the famous Roswell incident that happened many years back, with many claiming there was a military cover up to hide the truth from not only the locals of new Mexico, but the world. It’s an interesting topic for sure, with many taking it upon themselves to conduct their own research on the topic with movements such as the disclosure project pushing for official disclosure of the subject.

Whether you are a true believer or someone that has entertained the subject, there is certainly a presence around us whether spiritually related or indeed we are being visited from outer space. Many fear of disclosing their UFO encounters through the fear of being humiliated in public, whether some such as the famous Bob Dean, a retired sergeant major, push forward for our governments to release everything they have instead of lying through their teeth.
The fact of the matter is that we will never be told if there are other beings interacting with us, the only hope we have is that, they, the beings, make themselves known in front of a huge audience. This coming 4th July will be looked forward to by not only me but by many believers in the hope that our alien friends will finally reveal themselves so denial can ever be put forward by our governments. Roll on UFO contact July 4th!

Between 1965 and 1966, NASA flew an aggressive series of two-man missions into low-Earth orbit, where they practiced and tested many of the flying techniques, spacecraft systems, science and living skills that would be required to ensure that the voyage to and from the Moon was conducted as safely as possible. The flight program that NASA implemented in order to accomplish these lofty goals was known as Project GEMINI. In a mere 20 months time, 16 NASA astronauts flew a total of 10 missions aboard the GEMINI spacecraft, orbiting the Earth over 600 times while acquiring a wealth of space experience that in the following years would serve to help make the upcoming Apollo lunar program such a resounding success. The GEMINI astronauts were some of the first men to explore this new ocean over our heads that is known as ‘space’, and they did indeed see some amazing sights up there during their flights. Aboard each GEMINI spacecraft was a piece of equipment known as the “Voice Tape Recorder” (VTR). The purpose of the VTR was to give the astronauts the ability to verbally record any thoughts, comments, or observations throughout the course of each flight, primarily during the periods when they were not in radio contact with one of the MSFN (Manned Space Flight Network) ground stations spread out at …

They’re sometimes called “UFO” clouds because of their rounded, saucer-like shapes and hovering behavior. They’ve been around as long as any other kind of clouds, and were “officially” described/catalogged in the mid 1800s – long before HAARP or even use of electricity by humans. Much earlier records (paintings, text, etc.) no doubt exist as well. In the scientific world, they’re known as Lenticular clouds (Altostratus lenticularis), or “standing wave” clouds, and generally form over, downwind of, or sometimes upwind of mountain ranges. This event occured in the afternoon and evening of March 9th, 2010 and provided some spectacular skies around sunset. The cause is interesting… Fluid dynamics also apply to air, since wind moves much like water; it flows over the surface of the earth and when it encounters surface features (like mountains) it flows up and over them, like boulders in a river, generating ripples/rapids in the airstream above and downwind. Unlike water, these air currents are normally invisible, unless clouds exist to make them visible. Lenticular clouds form when moist air from lower altitude is forced up into colder, lower pressure layers of the atmosphere where it condenses, usually at the peaks of the air rapids and waves. Posted in UFOs on February 6th, 2011 by ufosUFO’s are the mystery of the sky with the population divided on whether they do or don’t exist. Many efforts have been made to determine and record their existence, with many people witnessing UFO sightings and recording UFO evidence.
One of the biggest projects to determine if UFO’s exist was Project Blue Book, conducted by the US Air Force in 1952. The projects mission evolved around 2 goals – to determine the threat by UFO’s to national security and to analyze the data related to UFOs. It was estimated that around 12,618 reports were collected by the project of which 6% were classified as unknowns, and thus defied detailed analysis.
The US government has declined its involvement in any of the projects relating to UFO’s but there has always been a speculation of the involvement of certain official agencies taking particular interest in the matter. Based on the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) there has been pressure built up on the government to release the secret reports related to UFO sightings and UFO evidence. The appeal has always been cleverly discarded stating that the exposure would pose a threat to national security and would be against security measures.
Saucer Watch and Citizens Against UFO secrecy (CAUS) have been actively involved to release the government UFO documents. Many ufologists and researchers are devoted to get to know more about UFO’s and its existence with UFO secret reports being unearthed that prove the existence of these unidentified flying objects.
The UFO Secret Reports contain evidence of UFO sightings seen by the US Airforce from the early 50’s. The reports contain the story of the sightings of green fireballs seen across New Mexico to UFO’s racing against fighter pilots. The government tried to ban much of the evidence seen in these reports, so if you want to read what the government doesn’t want you to you need to get your copy of the UFO Secret Reports.
