Would be kinda nice if we weren’t fighting ANYBODY in the future (Hopefully, we’ll meet some decent aliens when the time comes…)

Japanese Anime “the Big-O” used this music as their opening theme also.

110% agreed !!! The theme song rocks my world, bringing back childhood memories and very motivational.

Thanks for uploading this. I’ve always liked the opening for this series.
STAY AWESOME!

thats not a reel to reel tape machine, thats a computer hard drive tape sequencer, one of those baby’s could hold about 700 gigs of info on one 10 inch reel
March 19th, 2010 at 1:46 am
Wooohooo! Reel to Reel tape machines!!! Yippie!!!

I hear that Matt Gratzner is working on a trilogy of films based on UFO. Sounds like he’s trying to stick close to the original concept and not do what they did with the Thunderbirds movie… I’m looking forward to hearing more about it! As far as casting goes: I’d like to see what Keir Dullea could do with the role of Straker, but I doubt that it would ever happen.

I watched this on Ch. 9 in NYC back in the day.
March 19th, 2010 at 4:08 am
The 80s were just like that.
March 19th, 2010 at 4:44 am
For best T.V. series and you will agree with me. Sanford and Son.
March 19th, 2010 at 5:35 am
the same production designer for thunderbirds as well as 2001 a space odyssey did thes as well…you can see it!…odyssey had a way higher budget though.

There is a movie of UFO in pre-production. I would appreciate suggestions for roles.
Commander Stryker could be filled by a female actor…Marina Sirtis, Kate Mulgrew and Claudua Christian would be possibles.
Anyway, ideas would be appreciated, with a brief background resume for placement.
Peace and long life.

so cheezy..I loved this. It was on ch9, on sat in Los Angles in the mid 70s. The actor sort of looks like George Peppard looked. Thanks – thought I was the only one who watched the series. I still want the car too
