   Yes finally I can prove to gf that I have seen light over our city exactly like those but it was only one but ya that’s cool to see I’m not the only one to see them

   I saw these two objects in the sky on the 21st too, and also 17th of May – In Belmont. I took a video from my phone, but it was crap – I’ve got the video on my computer though
   just in case. These two objects looked like flat discs which travelled at very rapid speeds and looked as if they were dancing at some points. When I first saw them I thought they were model planes with neon lighting being operated by very skillful people, but when I saw them again a few weeks later I had my doubts.

   i actually know who did it. My friend did it. He told me that he went to his uncles house and he found some glow sticks so he rapped them around his uncles pigeons and let them free outside and that would probably explain the change color every 20 minutes and go in zig zags for a while.

   one can tell by the short and rapid turns as well as movement that they are small r/c planes. I see this all the time here in Central Park in NYC. please people, don’t be fooled. People do tricks like this all the time.

   who hasn’t seen it?
   it’s a couple of dudes with r/c aeroplanes on the oval near the bmx track, they’re down there fairly often. reason, it’s either a love of aviation, or the enjoyment of knowing skywatchers brains are exploding, and that less than intelligent people are gazing from their balconies bewildered.

    we saw AND taped it but there’s no point putting it on youtube after we found out they were just planes.
    i would re tape them ccrikey77 but i am afraid it would only look the same as the video you see here, as i have never seen the culprits during the day, and i am sure, they are having such a good time fooling us all that they wouldn’t allow me to film them up close anyway.

    just wondering if you could video these guys flying their planes to show people thats what it was! we’ve seen these too and have been very curious as to what it is! my kids are fascinated! and it seems so too are alot of people world wide!!

    and to the guys with the aircraft that has us all wondering…. good onya !!!

    I was doing the same thing as you until I went to the oval with my daughter down at Breakwater. There were guys there with large model aeroplanes with massive lights on them. Sorry to burst your bubble – but that’s what it was. Saw it and solved it.

    haha i drove down to the Oval to see what that was because i saw it too, it was a bunch of guys with two model planes with lights on them!

    Theres NO way, not even an expert could fly r.c devices like that the way they do in this video over a city area. Common sense is enough to figure that out. Theres just no way youd be able to avoid an accident. People who claim you could do it dont know the first thing about r.c. Theres a possibility that they could be some sort of ucav but they are a hell of a lot different to r.c toys

    These arent rc helicopters or planes, my uncle used to fly them and you cant fly them at night over the city like that, but Ill tell you one other thing that rules them out completely and utterly. You have to be able to see where you are flying them at all times and its just not possible in the city unless your flying them over a wide open space like a major park area where you can see them 100% of the time, otherwise theyll get wrapped around telephone wires or whatever.
