its time for disclosure, i love how most of the people close to me don’t even grasp the idea of alien UFO or other things that are gov can be hiding, since they are sheltered by US and to even figure out about this shocking stuff they would have to surf the internet like i did

@ycbe If you view this as close minded, then that is what it is. I would sort of see it as a person trying to understand what drives a portion of our populace into believing in something that is not real. That this belief becomes some form of obsession. It may be that some people are prone to believe in something that has yet to manifest. We usually say that this is a person with a belief in the supernatural. The supernatural is part of our active imaginations.

@ycbe Oh, forgive me. What I am speculating is that due to all the verifiable evidence that exists, there is a high probability that we will not experience or find extraterrestrial life forms other than micro-organisms. You are free to speculate on there being highly advanced ones, yet that would be simply an extension of the imagination or simply speculative. If we do not know, then it seem reasonable to say to one another that we do not know. No verifiable evidence means we do not know.

When I saw it. Im not saying I was abducted but Ive seen Venus in my dreams that someone showed it to me. And it was a different color. It might all be perception. She probably went there the same way I did and just has a different take on what happened.

p.s.s. One last thing & forgive my lengthy typings: if we have a gap in knowledge, we need to ask ourselves why do we not choose to say “I don’t know?” What internal mechanisms press a person into making claims where there are no verifiable facts? I would love for our generation to have “contact” experiences, yet this is speculation & not based on fact. There’s nothing wrong with sharing our active imaginations with one another. Mind you, we have to be careful if it affects human rights’ issues.

p.s. We each need to apply a greater sense of scrutiny when looking into claims & when folkies say “do the research”. The sources one finds for such claims are often filled with scientists & members of various communities that can easily resemble those whom we trust without being skeptical of their experiences and of their intent. Doesn’t it seem odd that people, who have degrees & who hold respectful positions in society, make claims without providing verifiable evidence? That’s a warning bell.

@TrueSkeptic77 & other folkies who “believe”. I’m uncertain as to where to begin with all these claims. TS77 has shared quite a few sources of scientists & of people such as yourselves who have speculated on the existence of extraterrestrials. To speculate is a needed proponent in observing our universe, yet to believe in anything without verifiable evidence is tantamount to delusion. I question the intent of claims without evidence. It’s a matter of choice to lose your reasoning for illusions.
