NASA unveiled a secret which keeps hanging the media’s appetite- the “unusual objects” that Council recently found is not UFO (unidentified flying object, or known as UFO), nor aliens, but a black hole of only 30 years old near earth, which is the youngest black hole found in the history of human sciences.

The youngest black hole is found by astronomers using NASA’s Chandra X-ray telescope, which provides a unique opportunity for observing on the objects in the infant period.   NASA press conference in a statement issued the same day that the black hole will help scientists better understand how massive stars explode, the star after the explosion left a black hole or neutron star, as well as the quantity of black holes in our Milky Way and other galaxies.

The 30-year-old black hole is the ember of the supernova “SN1979C” in the M100 galaxy which is about 50 million light-years from Earth. According to Chandra X-ray telescope, Swift satellite the United States, the European Space Agency Newton X-ray Telescope (XMM-Newton) and the German Roentgen satellite-derived data, it shows a bright X-ray source, which has been very stable in 1995 to 2007 during this observation period, suggesting that this object is a black hole, it is swallowing the falling supernova material of the companion star.

This is the only black hole which is witnessed by a human during its formation period.  It is also the only direct evidence that supernova explosions are now able to form black holes. Cambridge, Massachusetts, Harvard – Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics, Daniel • Pat Arnold, who leads the study, said: “If our interpretation is correct, it is an example for the observance of the most recent instance of the birth of a black hole.”

Early on in the November 10, the notice on NASA official Web site would hold the news conference today for the recent discovery of “unusual object” but did not elaborate which giving rise to widespread speculation that the discovery is enough to “shock all mankind”. Media also announced the discovery may be an alien or UFO. Therefore, a large number of fans have been waiting for this conference, “Chandra” X-ray Observatory; the official website was also visited by a large number of people.  After the conference, many people are deeply disappointed, and some criticized NASA’s trick, also accused the news media speculation.

Each year, thousands of UFO hunters and scores of scientists come to the Urals to study unexplained phenomena. But is there any explanation for the paranormal activity in this region? Where are the UFOs coming from?

Buzz Aldrin was scheduled for a phone interview on the Friday, June 8, 2007, edition of Your World with Neil Cavuto on the Fox News cable channel. Originally booked to talk about the latest space shuttle launch, he suddenly found himself being asked about Paris Hilton and had some very interesting things to say.

Friday, June 8, 2007, should have been a big news day. A former Preacher’s Wife was sentenced to three years in prison for shooting her husband in the back while he slept. A Tax Protestor couple in New Hampshire discovered what happens when you challenge the authority of people you elect to office: You get state police and an army of federal troops with tanks and federal agents with submachine guns at your door. The space shuttle took off on a mission to support the International Space Station. It was announced that the current Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff was stepping down. East Coast air travel was practically brought to a stand still by a computer glitch.

None of those news pieces ended up being the biggest story of the day. Instead it was Paris (Hilton, not France). Yes, it apparently took Fox and other news gathering and reporting organizations eight hours to tell the tale of Naughty Paris and the Nasty Judge. It didn’t seem to bother the news pundits that Paris was ordered back to jail to serve a forty-five day sentence for a probation violation, when other celebs have spent as little as five hours in jail for the same thing. I mean, give a gal a break! Don’t billion dollar babies get an automatic pass? Regardless of how you feel about the Paris Affair, it may have paid off in an unusual way for UFO Researchers.

Buzz Aldrin was supposed to be talking about the latest Space Shuttle Mission. Imagine his surprise when the famous astronaut’s guest spot was jammed into the middle of the never-ending discussion about Paris. An experienced media guest, Buzz is never at a loss for prefabricated words. Years ago I appeared on the Sally Jesse Raphael Show with him and a few other UFO Researchers. As long as you didn’t ask him anything out of the ordinary, he had some terrific prepared responses. If you did, he stammered and stumbled. That’s what happened on Your World with Neil Cavuto today around 1:30pm Arizona Time.

Asked to comment on how he felt about living in a world where Paris dominates the news for hours on end, he began by stammering on about some science fiction book he once wrote. The story was about a civilization that was going to be destroyed in exactly 140 years by a terrible calamity. He point was that everyone knew about it and did nothing until the very last minute. Huh? Like I said, not good without the prefab responses.

Buzz continued and finally made a lucid point. He apparently feels that we have lost our focus. Instead of worrying about how the Russians, Chinese and Japanese are slowly overtaking us in space research and exploration, we sensationalize and promote non-events like today’s Paris debacle. Just as Your World was headed to a break, Aldrin reminisced about the days of the Apollo 11 Moon Mission and said, “Suppose Neal and I said, ‘Look at what’s outside of our window! It’s a UFO!’ Instead, we said, ‘It’s unusual to see a booster rocket outside of our window.’ Think about what people would have said and what they would have done if we told them it was a UFO following us? That’s what it was.”

This was not Aldrin’s first statement about UFO encounters during the Apollo 11 Mission. He appeared on a Science Channel program entitled, “First on the Moon: The Untold Story” in 2005 and made this unusual observation: “There was something out there that, uh, was close enough to be observed and what could it be? Mike (Collins) decided he thought he could see it in the telescope and he was able to do that and when it was in one position, that had a series of ellipses, but when you made it real sharp it was sort of L shaped. That didn’t tell us very much.”

While interesting, it was carefully worded and left the door open to various interpretations. Compare that to the statement he made today, “Think about what people would have said and what they would have done if we told them it was a UFO following us? That’s what it was.”

Throwing caution to the wind, Aldrin brings up two points that involve accusations UFO Researchers have made against NASA and the Government for years:

1. The U.S. Government is hiding information about UFOs for fear of public reaction to the affirmation that Aliens exist and are visiting our planet at will.

2. The U.S. Government knows all about UFOs and has the ability to identify them.

To my knowledge, Aldrin has hardly ever used the term, “UFO.” Astronauts have avoided that term like the plague. Deke Slayton, an Astronaut and Chief of the Astronaut Office made this statement in 1976: “I don’t recall any of our astronauts ever reporting UFOs.” Why would he say that when there were already so many Astronaut sightings and UFO photos on record by then? Simple. They were already IDENTIFIED, not UNIDENTIFIED. And as far as word games go, the use of the term UFO by government or military personnel officially ended with the close of Project Bluebook (the official U.S. Government investigation into UFOs) in 1969.

As indicated by Buzz Aldrin’s latest statement, NASA already knew how to recognize UFOs in 1969. Aldrin: “Think about what people would have said and what they would have done if we told them it was a UFO following us? That’s what it was.” However, Aldrin hasn’t always been so forthcoming. I recall Aldrin’s trademark Cheshire cat smile on the Sally Jesse Raphael Show anytime we asked about UFOs or Aliens. It was his preprogrammed defense mechanism. Anytime he’s asked about UFOs during a television, cable or film interview, the smile pops up. Other times he’ll substitute the smile with handy comments like, “It’s a big universe” or “I guess someone else has to be out there,” but it’s still more than we ever hear from Neil Armstrong.

The world is still waiting to hear what the first man to walk on the moon has to say about what happened during the Apollo 11 Mission. Described as a deeply private and honest man, Armstrong has been virtually silent since returning to Earth except for a few interviews almost immediately after the mission. The question that has always bothered me is why?

The only sensible answer is that things happened on the Apollo 11 Moon Mission that Neil Armstrong doesn’t want to talk about. It’s likely that he would rather say nothing then lie to people, mislead them or deliver a series of NASA approved responses. It’s impossible to say exactly what happened, but there is a decent body of evidence to indicate that it was anything but a routine flight.

During a time when the media was allowed to monitor most radio transmissions from the mission, odd noises and allegedly unknown languages were heard. Various statements regarding unknown objects and particular incidents were made by all three of the Apollo 11 Astronauts. Some photos taken during the mission appear to show a number of odd lights and strange objects in various positions near the moon.

Armstrong’s overall lack of enthusiasm for press events brings up another question. Why would NASA choose a quiet guy like Neil Armstrong to be the first man to walk on the Moon? They had to know that everyone in the world would want to interview him for years to come. That could have been a major publicity boom for NASA; instead it turned into a bust that probably contributed to the eventual gutting of the Space Program. That leaves the door open for all kinds of speculation.

Whenever he’s asked a question about something that Neil Armstrong said or did during the Apollo 11 Moon Mission, Buzz Aldrin always says, “You would have to ask Neil about that.” We would love to Buzz, but he ain’t talking! The best we can hope for is a final disclosure from Armstrong while he is alive or some kind of written or recorded statement left behind after he passes on. Now almost seventy-six years old, his last public appearance was at the White House in 2004 for the 35th Anniversary Celebration of the Moon Landing. As usual, he had little to say during that occasion.

On a day when all the news cameras were focused on a tearful Paris Hilton being dragged off to jail (again), Buzz Aldrin’s latest statement was the real bombshell. But those precious few and very important words from Aldrin came about all because of the Hilton court date coverage. So I say, Thanks, Paris! I’ll send a cake with a file in it and a Get out Of Jail Free Card from my children’s Spongebob version Monopoly game if that will help. Our Milky Way Galaxy is only one of 10 billion galaxies in the
presently observable universe. Our Sun is just one of some 300 billion
stars in our galaxy alone. Astronomers have confirmed that the Sun and
the galaxy, which make our existence possible, are not unusual or
basically different from other galaxies and stars.

A few generations ago, astronomers believed that planetary systems
were extremely rare–that our solar system and our Earth with its
life-supporting environment might well be unique. Chemists and
biologists knew little if anything about the processes that led to the
origin of life. In the last fifteen years, however, a number of
important discoveries have strongly suggested that there is a
fundamental relationship between the origin and evolution of life and
the origin and evolution of the universe.

Advances in astronomy and physics have given renewed support to the
concept that planets are not rare exceptions, but are a natural part
of the star formation process and may number in the hundreds of
millions in our galaxy alone. [In December 1984, the National Science
Foundation announced that a team of Arizona astronomers had detected a
possible solar system around Beta Pictoris, a star 53 light years from
Earth.] Recent biological experiments applying natural energy sources
to molecules have produced some of the organic building blocks that
make up the chemistry of life. Radio astronomers have discovered that
many organic molecules exist even in the depths of interstellar space.
Elements identified in these molecules include hydrogen, nitrogen,
oxygen, carbon, silicon, and phosphorus. Earth has been without life
only a small fraction of its age, which leads many scientists to look
upon the formation of life on other suitable planets as very likely.
Once begun, and given billions of years of relative stability, life
may achieve intelligence and, in some cases, may evolve into a
technological civilization.

One direct way of testing whether intelligent life exists beyond our
solar system is to search for an artificially generated radio signal
coming from interstellar space. As an example, ultrahigh frequency and
microwave radio signals emanating from Earth are expanding into space
at the speed of light. This radio, radar, and television “leakage” of
ours currently fills a sphere nearly 100 light-years in diameter. The
same phenomenon would serve to announce the presence of other
intelligent life. Moreover, advanced civilizations might be operating
radio beacons, possibly to attract the attention of emerging societies
and bring them into contact with a community of long-established
intelligent societies existing throughout the galaxy.

Either type of signal (leakage or beacon) would be easiest to detect
at frequencies where the background radio noise is minimal. One of the
quietest regions of the electromagnetic spectrum is the “microwave
window” that lies in the frequency band between 1000 and 10,000
megahertz (MHz). It is reasonable to assume that others wishing to
establish interstellar contact by radio might choose this band.

The search for extraterrestrial intelligence (SETI) is not new, having
first been proposed by U.S. scientists in 1959. Since that time,
numerous scientific and technical studies have been made on an
international scale, and more than 30 radio searches have been
attempted, covering only a minute area of search space. What is new
today is the available technology. Radio telescopes on Earth are
sufficiently sensitive to detect signals no stronger than some leaving
Earth at distances of a thousand light-years or more. The 305 meter
(1000-ft) diameter radio telescope at Arecibo, Puerto Rico, could
detect transmissions from nearby stars that are less powerful but
similar to our own television and radars. Advances in computers and
data processing techniques now make it possible to search
automatically through millions of incoming radio signals each second
and, if it is present, to identify a signal transmitted by an
intelligent society.

The NASA SETI Program is nearing the end of a 5-year research and
development phase, using existing radio telescopes and advanced
electronic techniques to develop prototype SETI instrumentation. The
program is being jointly carried out by the Jet Propulsion Laboratory
(JPL) at Pasadena, California, and the NASA Ames Research Center at
Moffet Field, California. Leading radio scientists from the national
laboratories and academic community have also joined together in the
SETI Science Working Group to assist the JPL-Ames team in developing
the instrumentation and the search strategy.

The proposed plan involves two complementary search modes that are
designed to cover a range of possibilities. One mode is an all-sky
survey that will search the entire celestial sphere over a wide
frequency range (1200 to 10,000 MHz plus spot bands up to 25,000 MHz)
to cover the possibility that there may be a few civilizations
transmitting strong signals, possibly as interstellar beacons. Longer
observing times may be allocated to directions that include a large
number of stars, especially the galactic plane. The radio telescopes
employed will be the 34-meter (112-ft) diameter antennas that are part
of NASA’s Deep Space Network. The survey will be conducted by moving
the telescope across the sky at a constant rate. It will cover at
least 10,000 times more frequency space than all previous survey
attempts, will be about 300 times more sensitive, and will take about
5 years to complete.

The second mode is a high-sensitivity targeted search that will look
for weak signals originating near solar-type stars within 80
light-years distance from Earth. The objective is to examine the
possibility that nearby civilizations may have radio transmitters no
more powerful than our own. Some stellar clusters and nearby galaxies
will also be observed. The frequency range covered will be 1200 to
3000 MHz plus spot bands between 3000 and 10,000 MHz. To achieve very
high sensitivity, the targeted search will use some of the largest
radio telescopes available, including the 305-meter (1000-ft) diameter
antenna at Arecibo, Puerto Rico, and the Deep Space Network’s 64-meter
(210-ft) diameter antennas. The number of targets covered will be much
larger than previous searches and the range of frequencies covered
will be thousands of times greater. The targeted search is expected to
take about 3 years to complete.

Current astrophysical knowledge and the available technology make the
SETI observing program both timely and feasible. Timeliness also
relates to the rapidly-increasing sources of radio frequency
interference (RFI) in the microwave band. Portions of the microwave
spectrum that directly concern SETI ar subject to allocation to
numerous users worldwide, emphasizing the need to proceed with SETI
while it remains economically possible with our current technology. If
the use of the microwave spectrum continues to increase at its present
rate, the greatest exploration opportunity in the history of mankind
may be placed economically and technologically beyond our reach for
the foreseeable future.
