Mexican UFO Revelation Signals Departure from Non-Disclosure Dogma

On Tuesday, May 11, 2004, an international press conference was held to announce the findings of a joint official and private effort to investigate a UFO sighting. What is remarkable in the press conference is that Department of Defense collaborated with a top Mexican UFO researcher, Jaime Maussan, in the release of information concerning the appearance of up to 11 UFO´s in the vicinity of a Mexican Air force flight that was on a drug surveillance mission on March 5, 2004. Using infrared cameras and radar tracking, the eight- man crew of the Merlin C26/A flight was able to monitor the UFOs, which at one point formed a circle around the flight. In investigating the incident, the Air force contacted Jaime Maussan and asked him to participate in the inquiry.

The release of data on the UFOs taken by a Mexican Air force crew was certainly a coup for Maussan who released the information in the popular television program ´Great Mysteries of the Third Millennium´ on May 9, 2004. Maussan was initially contacted on April 20, by the Department of Defense and had a meeting the next day with General Clemente Vega Garcia, Secretary of Defense and his senior officials. The Secretary of Defense went further however than simply informing Maussan of the incident. General Clemente released film and other data of the incident to Maussan that he could investigate with his own independent research team. The Department of Defense confirmed to international media outlets such as Reuters in a May 11 Press Conference that it had handed over the film and data to Maussan. This was certainly unprecedented and signaled a major new approach to dealing with the UFO phenomenon by a major world government.

Up to the present time, there appears to have been a well- coordinated international effort in managing UFO sightings and reports of UFO crashes. These have typically been handled in a way suggesting a sophisticated global system for dealing with UFO sightings, and even collecting the remains of crashed UFOs, without witnesses having much credibility before the mass media. This global management system has prevented governmental releases of UFO information to the general public and international media. Whatever releases did occur typically involved private civilians rather than military personnel in their official capacities revealing UFO information. In the US, military personnel have been legally proscribed from participating in the release of information of UFO sightings according to military regulations described in the Joint Army Navy Air Publication (JANAP) 146 released in 1953. Similar provisions are found in the British Ministry of Defense and other major nations that have had to deal with the UFO phenomenon, and/or cooperate closely with the US.

This official international system for repressing UFO reports suffered a significant setback in 1999 with the release of a French government supported study of the UFO phenomenon. The COMETA Report comprised former top military officials and found credible evidence to support the existence of UFOs as phenomenon that required serious political attention. The COMETA report was not widely covered in the US but signaled that major nations differed in how much information they should release to their general publics. In December 2002, the British Ministry of Defense released a file on the Rendlesham UFO incident of 1980 describing one of the most well document UFO sightings in British history. Significantly, the US military has not released its own files of the incident despite having played a leading investigatory role at Rendlesham. The respective official positions over the Rendlesham files suggests a clear difference of opinion between the British and US military officials over the extent to which UFO information will be released to the general public and the mass media.

The participation of the Mexican Department of Defense in collaborating with Maussan in releasing information on a contemporary UFO sighting is unprecedented. This is a significant development that goes even further than the COMETA report in challenging the non-disclosure position supported by the US government that apparently plays a major role in the international management system in place for UFO sightings/crashes. The Mexican Department of Defense effort in collaborating with Maussan simultaneously achieves a number of things. First, it helps legitimate research into the UFO phenomenon that now has official government support as a credible field of study at least in Mexico. Second, it legitimates the investigatory skills and experiences of private Mexican researchers such as Maussan. Third, it comes at a time of great international friction over the war in Iraq suggesting that this Mexican initiative marks a major rupture in the de facto global management system for UFOs that echoes global dissent over US policies in Iraq. If the COMETA report and the release of the Rendlesham files are solid indicators of the European position towards UFO disclosure, then it appears that the US is becoming increasingly isolated in its strict non-disclosure policy.

If indeed there is a major rift in the global management system over the rate and extent to which disclosure of UFOs sightings and/or UFO evidence is made to the general public of major states, then it may be predicted that further disclosures by other governments are likely. It may be concluded that the Mexican Department of Defense collaboration with private UFO researchers heralds a major new phase in the UFO phenomenon. With a more integrated global media and Internet, it will be very difficult if impossible for the mass media in the US to ignore UFO developments in other countries. If major world governments begin disclosing information concerning contemporary UFO sightings, then it may be predicted that the non- disclosure policy in place for over 50 years may soon come to an end. This would usher in the age of exopolitics where the political implications of an extraterrestrial presence would predictably dominate global politics.

Before the Apollo program would ever be able to make the journey across the cis-lunar void to the Moon, NASA’s astronauts first needed to learn how to fly, work, and live in space. Between 1965 and 1966, NASA flew an aggressive series of two-man missions into low-Earth orbit, where they practiced and tested many of the flying techniques, spacecraft systems, science and living skills that would be required to ensure that the voyage to and from the Moon was conducted as safely as possible. The flight program that NASA implemented in order to accomplish these lofty goals was known as Project GEMINI. In a mere 20 months time, 16 NASA astronauts flew a total of 10 missions aboard the GEMINI spacecraft, orbiting the Earth over 600 times while acquiring a wealth of space experience that in the following years would serve to help make the upcoming Apollo lunar program such a resounding success. A few times each year in Santa Clarita, the conditions are just right for these strange clouds to form. They’re sometimes called “UFO” clouds because of their rounded, saucer-like shapes and hovering behavior. They’ve been around as long as any other kind of clouds, and were “officially” described/catalogged in the mid 1800s – long before HAARP or even use of electricity by humans. Much earlier records (paintings, text, etc.) no doubt exist as well. In the scientific world, they’re known as Lenticular clouds (Altostratus lenticularis), or “standing wave” clouds, and generally form over, downwind of, or sometimes upwind of mountain ranges. This event occured in the afternoon and evening of March 9th, 2010 and provided some spectacular skies around sunset. The cause is interesting… Fluid dynamics also apply to air, since wind moves much like water; it flows over the surface of the earth and when it encounters surface features (like mountains) it flows up and over them, like boulders in a river, generating ripples/rapids in the airstream above and downwind. Unlike water, these air currents are normally invisible, unless clouds exist to make them visible. Lenticular clouds form when moist air from lower altitude is forced up into colder, lower pressure layers of the atmosphere where it condenses, usually at the peaks of the air rapids and waves. For hundreds, or thousands of years there have been sightings and reports of UFO’s from almost every corner of the planet. Of course a lot of these sightings and reports could just be stories or even myths handed down from generation to generation, but with so many cases maybe there is a great deal of truth to the reports. In fact if the ancient caveman was the only ones to have recorded incidents of UFO encounters, we may easily pass off the reports as myths. Every year there are more reports of UFOs then the previous years, in fact in the year 2010 there were more reports of UFO’s then previous years, and 2011 looks to be the same. Not only are there thousands of reports made by normal citizens, but many of the reports come in from what is regarded as people who have a generally high IQ and or higher position in society, such as military personnel, commercial pilots, government personnel, doctors and others.

Clearly something is going on, and I believe I have stumbled upon a mystery most fowl indeed. Growing up on a large dairy farm I was exposed to seeing numerous cattle, pigs, chickens and roosters. One summer my brother and I were constantly terrorized by a rooster, a Rhode Island Red, named Bubby. Bubby was a menace, in fact he was a real bully, whenever my brother and I ventured outside, he would attack us. Bubby, could be 100 feet away, and if he spotted one or both of us he would suddenly, run, flap his wings and head towards whichever one of us was the closest to him. Bubby would attack with flapping wings, pecking his sharp beat, and poking us in the shins with his sharp spurs.

My brother and I would run, screaming into the house, bleeding profusely from our wounds, while Bubby, would casually walk back towards the barn with his head held high in victory. Bubby, the rooster, ruined many summer vacations for my brother and I, due to the fact that we had to spend almost all of our time away from School, being a prisoner inside the house. One day a neighbor friend of my Brothers, a boy named Berak, came down to visit us, he came inside and said; “You guys are not going to believe this but I just saw a UFO flying over your house!”  Berak, said the UFO was large, and it was shaped like a disk or saucer. Berak, talked so much about the UFO, that despite being terrorized by Bubby, the rooster, my brother and I decided to go outside to see if we could spot the UFO ourselves.  

The three of us had been outside for roughly 10 minutes when our friend Berak, shouted “There it is!”, we looked up in the direction Berak, was looking, and we both saw a large UFO just as Berak, had described earlier. We stood there for a few seconds and watched as the large UFO hovered over the barn, then it started heading in our direction, strangely the closer it got, the smaller it became in size, like it had some advanced technology to morph or change it’s shape. Suddenly the UFO, changed completely into a shape my brother and I had seen many times, it was Bubby, the rooster. Strangely all of the times Bubby, had attacked us, he did so by running, and flapping his wings, now he had discovered the ability to fly. We all ran into the house screaming, and we told our Dad about the UFO that had changed into a rooster.

Dad, laughed and said; “Heck I have seen that many times on the farm, a Rhode Island Red Rooster has a special chemical in their feathers that makes them look distorted in daylight when they fly, in fact the brighter the sun is shining, the more they distort, they even do it during the night time when they fly, giving off a sort of Rooster Bio-Luminousness or ‘RBL’ as scientists call it”. Amazingly a small normal Rhode Island Red Rooster can appear to be a large saucer shaped UFO when flying. It sounded unbelievable but we had seen it with our very eyes.

Over the next year I decided to do some experiments, so I saved my money that I earned by selling issues of ‘Red Herring magazine’, and I purchased a Barred Rock species of Rooster. The Barred Rock is colored black or (dark brown) and white, I got a very healthy one that could fly high, and let it loose. The Barred Rock Rooster took off and flew a short but high journey into the air, as the sun light shined off it, it quickly took the shape of a large cigar or cylinder shaped UFO, again as with the Rhode Island Red flew, its appearance changed back into that of a rooster as it neared the ground. Next I purchased a white species of Rooster, called a White Leghorn, and repeated the experiment, not only did the rooster’s appearance change once it flew into the sunlight, but it appeared to change into a large, silent, black triangle craft, and when flying at night it appeared to have lights underneath it.

I believe I had stumbled upon solving one of the greatest mysteries of mankind, the UFO enigma. I know that many folks that read this article will find the evidence hard to believe, but I have the test notes and the proof to back it up. This also explains why after thousands and thousands of UFO’s reports, there is no concrete proof of one, even as they land, but if you observe one some bright sunlit day or during a starry night, look closely as it nears the ground, and you may discover that in reality it is a rooster that has escaped from some farmers coop.
