Wednesday, August 13th, 2008

The Scottish UFO enthusiast accused of hacking 97 US Military computers at the Pentagon and NASA between 2001 and 2002 in the hunt for evidence of UFOs, has won a two-week stay on his extradition to the US. McKinnon never denied wandering around networks of a wide number of military institutions, but has always claimed he never did any harm. If convicted he’s facing up to 70 years in prison and a fine of £1.7 million for sabotaging vital defense systems. He could also be sent to Guantanamo Bay as a terrorist suspect….
